The !Khu-//Gâis Visual Arts (KGVA) Festival (Gathering of Artists and Dreamers in Nama/Khoisan heritage) is a collaborative, community-driven co-created visual arts festival dedicated to showcasing unsung and invisibilized local art, indigeneity and culture with a strong focus on anticolonialism and inclusivity in Cape Town.  Previously known as the Soema Just x Crafted Plant Art Festival & Market, this festival is implemented in collaboration with our creative partnership, Soema Just and the Crafted Plant.

This festival aims to redefine and disrupt traditional notions of art, artists and art consumption centring creators and consumers in co-creating a space for inclusive expression, culture, and localized economic opportunities. Thus far, we’ve hosted a festival in 2024 and 2025.
